An Advanced Course at Avatar University

In de loop van deze week zijn 170.000 gebouwen van Amsterdam niet alleen ‘plat’, maar ook driedimensionaal op Google Earth te zien. Voor Europa is dat op deze schaal uniek. Zeker ook omdat de gemeente de 170.000 gebouwen vrij beschikbaar stelt. Over enige tijd kunnen gebruikers van Google Earth de gebouwen zelf visueel bewerken[1]. Wethouder Asscher: “Dit past in de geest van Amsterdam Topstad. De gemeentelijke afdeling Geo en Vastgoedinformatie (GVI) en Google zijn hier een uitdagende samenwerking aangegaan. En iedereen in de stad kan hier binnenkort aan mee bouwen.” |
